TTE is quickly becoming TTMiata. Alot of Miata's end up here on their way to Spec Miata, I end up in the same class with a slightly different approach (more power, less aero/handling).
Despite how the pictures look, this was actually another wet and miserable weekend. Chris Clark got the rest of these shots for me, must have all been in the 15 minutes of sunshine...
This was the first time I really got to push the Miata on track all year and things went...ok. No mechanical issues, but I was quite a bit slower than last year (1:49.9 vs. previous best of 1:45.9).
Despite my slow pace, I managed to finish 4th or 5th out of the 10 TTE cars. First place was in the 1:47's.
In August I will be testing the new Toyo R888 tires as well as fine-tuning my shock settings (well as long as the weather cooperates). Hopefully some of my speed from last year will return!
